Found a great mailing service!

Zookoda rocks! You can subscribe to my mailing list by using the little ‘subscribe’ box on the right side of my blog. Then, once a day, you’ll get an email about the new posts I have on my blog. I love free software :)

New mailing list service

I think I’ve found a new service I can use to send people emails every morning change on my blog. Once it’s available, I’ll let everyone know!

I’ve decided to get a bit more serious about updating this, since I’ve been giving my website address out to a lot of people. Right now, I think it’ll mainly focus on the photos and videos I’m putting on the web. We’ve got some pictures and video of Josh getting his V-max back in action…I’ll put those up soon.

Fear not, I have come!

First, I need to say this: I will be changing the design of this blog later. This is just temporary. Deal with it :)

Yes, I have finally joined the ranks of the bloggers. After seeing 90% of the world doing this, I decided it was too much fun to miss out on for another year, so I downloaded WordPress, threw it up on my server, and was up and running in minutes. I have to say, WordPress is easy to install…not as easy as Joomla, but very easy nonetheless.

So why have a blog? Well, this really seems to be the easiest way to keep in touch with my friends and family. It’s kinda like a journal/newsletter. I’ll be talking about just ordinary things that happen in my life and the life of my family, and probably posting a bunch of pictures, like this one.

I love how blurry the background is…at F/2.8, it was really hard to keep the bee in focus, but it made for a beautiful effect.

Alright, I’m going to go off now and find the best RSS-to-email service, so my family can get updates from this blog in their email. Notice how I’m writing email, and not e-mail. It’s something I’m trying. Maybe it’ll stick.
